Light a Path is a 501c3 founded on the knowledge that connection creates resilience. Light a Path supports personal, communal and ecological resilience by connecting service-minded yoga teachers, somatic therapists, and body workers to populations with limited access to holistic resources. With programming for youth-at-risk, the incarcerated, the unhoused and those in recovery and transition, Light a Path is providing a way forward, in health and well-being for some of the most vulnerable members of society.
Give Back Yoga Foundation is a national non-profit organization leading the way in the yoga service movement bringing yoga and mindfulness programs to those who can benefit most from these transformational practices. Give Back Yoga is the gateway for yoga service programs, teacher trainings and resources for underserved and under-resourced populations like veterans, first responders, at-risk teens, prisoners and those struggling with negative body image and disordered eating.
Africa Yoga Project educates and empowers unemployed young people in Africa to develop as professionals and leaders, be of service and to create new economic opportunities by tapping into the multi-billion-dollar global well-being industry. Through the transformational practice of yoga, young people in Africa are leading the change!
Shanti Uganda is non-profit society based in Vancouver, Canada and the Luwero District of central Uganda. Our mission is to improve infant and maternal health, provide safe women-centered care and support the well-being of birthing mothers and women living with HIV/AIDS in Uganda. We envision a world where every birth matters.
The Call & Response Foundation is a registered nonprofit devoted to serving and expanding the mantra music community. Our mission is to share the experience of chanting with one million people by 2020. We are accomplishing our mission by supporting the community of chant artists, by offering research and resources supporting the healing power of chant, and by facilitating events to benefit varied populations including incarcerated individuals and veterans as well as those in recovery.
The International Pure Bhakti Yoga Society (IPBYS) Outreach Program is a non-profit whose aim and mission is to assist in the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and mental upliftment of individuals nationwide and globally; to change at the root by coming to the path of spirituality. The largest project of IPBYS Outreach is the Prison Outreach Program. In 3 short years, it has grown organically and the team who serves this program is honored to be a part and witness the immense change in inmates. The program sends spiritual books to inmates and prison libraries, a monthly course entitled, “The Journey to Prema” and a monthly newsletter. We also provide spiritual penpals and visitations.
Through ongoing education, research, and experience working in Costa Rica, CREER is discovering strategies to help provide sustainable solutions for the healthy evolution of the native Costa Rican culture. With a focus on the rural areas of the country, CREER gives support through offering resources such as jobs, educational programs, microloans, and volunteer opportunities that will result in balance and long-lasting opportunities for the Costa Rican people.
